Another month come and gone already, August was a whirlwind. The first BBT reward pool is now closed, and those who booked and stayed using the alpha engine in July & August 2021 will receive their BBT rewards in September 2021, towards the end of the month. Reporting comes from our inventory partner Priceline, and that report will be used to make the BBT reward payouts. Staking is so close I can smell it and should launch this week. BBT Trading volume has increased, bookings in August were triple that of July, and BitBook acquired a new domain BITBOOK.NET. Let’s dive right into the details!

Marketing
You can see that at the beginning of July BitBook was likely at its all-time low. Going into July BBT was nearly 50% below IEO price. Then July 9–12 we ran a marketing test and hit a trading volume record, and then backed off paid ads, in favor of organic methods.
The final week of July BitBook began organic marketing efforts aided by the listings that came at the end of July on Delta, FTX (formerly blockfolio), and Coinbase. With targeted organic marketing efforts in the way of blogs, social media and building backlinks you can see the trading volume and price steadily increase as BitBook awareness begins to penetrate the markets.
BitBook Incubates Business Travel Platform TripLeverage
In August we had quite a bit happen. BitBook announced at the beginning of the month the incubation of TripLeverage, a business travel platform where a % of the transaction tax will be dedicated to buying BBT and burning it. The TripLeverage ILO launched on the 23d of August on Unicrypt, and the pre-sale will continue til listing on PancakeSwapV2 on the 5th of September.
Stake BBT
BitBook hired a new developer to assist in the BitBook staking project. BitBook staking originally slated to launch in mid-August with MetaMask is now scheduled to launch on September 2nd with seven wallets integrated at the time of launch. Available wallets to stake BBT include MetaMask, Binance Chain Wallet, Trust Wallet, Wallet Connection, Math Wallet, Token Pocket, and SafePal Wallet. Wallet UX testing is tentatively scheduled for Thursday at 14:00 GMT + 7 if final security testing succeeds.

What’s On for September?
September will be even busier than August. With staking launching during the first week, then later in the month, the Account & Reward system will launch along with the new Invite & Earn product. Invite & Earn will come along with a press kit, and materials for you to be able to market. There is also another secret announcement, coming up that will be revealed later in the month. Seems BitBook is making quite a splash and other projects are starting to build projects with the specific intent of interacting with the BitBook ecosystem. We will share more as this develops.
BitBookers, we know staking is “late” but for a product that was not in the original planning, we really wanted to get it right. We realize our investors have higher expectations than the average investor, and that anything we deliver has to be second to none.
