If you are new to crypto, let’s begin with setting up your new crypto wallet.

Step 1: Set up a BSC compatible wallet like MetaMask or Trust Wallet

Follow the instructions for desktop, iOS**, or android depending on the device you are using, if desktop be sure to check the supported browsers.

**iOS users please see this video How to Use Trust Wallet + PancakeSwap With iPhone (WalletConnect)

Step 2: Secure your seed phrase

Write down the seed phrase that you are given to restore your wallet. You will create a password in step 1, however, the seed phrase will allow you to recover your wallet if your password is lost, and it will allow you to import your wallet and its contents from browser to mobile and vice versa. Once you have written down your seed phrase, secure it in a safe place. Be sure to protect your seed phrase the way you would protect anything of great value. This method is decentralized and you are responsible for your keys to your crypto. Be sure to be careful, and keep everything secure.

Step 3: Connect your wallet to the BinanceSmartChain

The default setting for most wallets is Ethereum, so you will need to change the network by adding BSC to your wallet.

Mainnet

Network Name: Binance Smart Chain

RPC URL:

https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/ or https://bsc-dataseed1.binance.org:443

ChainID: 56 in decimal (if 56 doesn’t work, try 0x38)

Symbol: BNB

Block Explorer: https://bscscan.com

Click on save, You have now added the BinanceSmartChain.

Step 4: Set up BBT as a custom token in your new wallet

Set up a custom token on the BinanceSmartChain (BSC), you will need to click on Ethereum, and then from the dropdown select BSC.

Then you will need to enter BtiBook Contract Address Inormation:

BitBook Token Contract Address: 0xd48474e7444727bf500a32d5abe01943f3a59a64

Token Symbol: BBT

Decimals of Precision: 8

Step 5: Buy BNB with fiat, or trade other cryptos for BNB tokens

Before you can swap on PSC you will need to have the starting currency of BNB.

You can trade existing crypto for BNB or you can use fiat currency to purchase if it’s your first time in crypto.

To buy BNB using fiat you can visit Binance or any other exchange of your choice. Simply make an account at your chosen exchange and buy the amount of BNB you want to swap for BBT.

Or to bypass an exchange all together you can buy BNB using your credit card right on Trust Wallet.

If you bought from an exchange, now you are ready to send the BNB to your new wallet, if you bought BNB using Trust Wallet you can skip to step 5.

Step 6: Send BNB to your walled via the BSC network

Now it’s time to withdraw your BNB from your exchange wallet and deposit it into your BSC compatible wallet, to be able to start swapping for BBT.

To deposit your BNB to your new wallet you must first withdraw it from the exchange.

Find the Withdrawal/Deposit area and select the coin and network you wish to withdraw.

Select Coin: BNB

Copy and Paste the deposit address from your new wallet on Trust Wallet or MetaMask into the box labeled “Address”. Ensure it is BinanceSmartChain (BSC)

Select Network: BEP20 (BSC)

Binance will match the address and the network and if things are correct you will see in green, “Wallet address automatically matched to the corresponding network.

Now you are set to withdraw your BNB to your new wallet in order to swap BNB for BBT on PancakeSwapV2.

Step 7: Swap BNB for BBT on PCSv2

Now the fun begins! Time to buy your BBT by swapping BNB.

Make sure you select BBT.

Next, enter the amount of BNB you wish to swap for BBT and adjust your trade settings to suit your personal preferences.

In the basic settings, you can adjust your slippage tolerance and the transaction deadline.

What is slippage tolerance?

Answer: Your transaction will revert if the price changes unfavorably by more than this percentage.

What does this mean to you?

The lower your slippage tolerance the less likely you are to be front-run by bots. This means you get the price you want.

What is the Transaction Deadline?

Answer: Your transaction will revert if it is pending for more than this length of time.

What does this mean to you?

It means that if the price varies too much from the price selected during the transaction ID approval due to getting stuck in the blockchain or fees being too low then it will not process and you will need to try again.

Recommended Slippage to prevent frontrunning: 0.1% to 1%

Transaction Deadline:

Simply choose anywhere from 5–60 minutes to determine how long you will give for the order to be placed with your slippage tolerance.

Now that you have set your slippage and transaction deadline you can Unlock Wallet

Connect to your wallet of choice, whether Metamask, Trust Wallet or another BSC compatible wallet:

Once your wallet is connected you are now officially ready to SWAP

Once you hit SWAP then your order will either execute or fail with the given parameters. If the order is successful you will see the balance in your wallet move from BNB to the corresponding number of BBTs.

Step 8: Store your new BBT

Now, what to do with those shiny new BitBook tokens? Keep them in your wallet, store the seed phrase someplace safe, and keep up to date with when the BBT rewards will begin to payout, and find out when staking comes available first by joining the BBT Telegram: https://t.me/bitbooknetwork
